Ordos Plateau

The Yellow River enters this area from the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, flows north, hits the Yinshan Mountains, and flows east on the south side of them. On the south side of the Yellow River is the Ordos Plateau, which is low in the north and high in the south (about 1,500m in the south), and here deserts such as Maou-su are also found.
