[Flower and tree gardening]
There are three different terms for flowering trees, potted plants, and garden trees, but in all cases they are woody plants, and the business of dealing with them is called flowering tree horticulture. Flowering trees are trees grown for their flowers, such as plum, camellia, and azalea, while potted plants and garden trees are trees grown for shade, privacy, and to create a garden atmosphere, such as chinquapin, oak, cypress, and pine, but in any case, there are no trees that do not bloom, so they can all be referred to as flowering trees.
