...As a material condition, the mixture ratio of the combustible and oxidizer must be within a specific range determined by the type of material, temperature, pressure, etc. For gaseous combustibles, this is called the flammable range (combustible range, explosive range), and the flammable limit on the low flammable concentration side is called the lower limit, and the flammable limit on the high flammable concentration side is called the upper limit. The flammable ranges of typical gases are shown in the table below.
