Girdle

Japanese: ガードル（英語表記）girdle

A waistband or an elastic informal corset for women. It tightens from the abdomen to the waist to shape the body and the outer shape of the clothing. It was once made of rubber, but nowadays it is made of polyurethane-based elastic fiber spandex. It comes in a variety of shapes and lengths, including tube-shaped, panty-shaped, and short-shaped, with suspenders, and also in high-waist and low-waist types and lengths such as short, standard, semi-long, and long.
