As far back as March 1758 (8th year of the Horeki era) at the Edo Ichimura-za Theatre in Shichihenge (Seven Transformations), Hinamatsuri Kamiji no Momo, was performed by Nakamura Tomijuro I, and March 1787 (7th year of the Tenmei era) at the Kiri-za Theatre in Kadoide Shinharukoma, was performed by Iwai Hanshiro IV. During the Genroku era (1688-1704), it was also performed in Sankai Nagoya. ...
