Yemen's coffee, beloved under the name of Mocha coffee, is now produced at less than 10,000 tons. The rapid increase in production of khat, a narcotic tea plant, as a cash crop, is becoming a problem. The country's main exports are cotton, confectionery, biscuits, raw hides and leather, and coffee.
