Mount Kasatori

(Also called "Kasatorinoyama"). A mountain located in the northeastern part of Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture, southeast of Mt. Daigo. It is 371 meters above sea level. It is a famous spot for autumn leaves. Utamakura. ※Kokinshu (905-914), Autumn, 263: "When it rains, the sleeves of people passing by are drooping on the maple leaves of Mt. Kasatorinoyama.
