〘noun〙 A type of gambling in the Edo period. When officially approved fortune - telling games were held at shrines and temples, players would bet a small amount of money on the winning ticket. Ranking. ⇔Hontomi. ※Yureki Zakki ( 1829 ) First Edition "Because it was difficult to buy tickets easily, at some point in time, a practice called Kagetomi became popular, and there were many samurai and townspeople who would make bets secretly, and each month at the first tomi draw at the three locations in Meguro, Yanaka, and Yushima , they would decide the winning ticket for Kagetomi and compete for profit."

〘名〙江戸時代の博奕(ばくち)の一種。社寺で公許の富籤(とみくじ)が興行されたとき、その当たり籤を当たりとして、少額の金銭を賭けて行なう富籤。第付け。⇔本富(ほんとみ)。※遊歴雑記（1829）初「是に依て容易の者札買がたきを以て、いつの頃よりか、影富(カゲトミ)といふ事天行(はやり)、内証にて元方をする者武士町家に数多有て、毎月目黒谷中湯島三ケ所の一の富の出番を以て、影富の当りを定めて、利徳を争ふ」
