...Of the elements that occur naturally, there are often several isotopes (beryllium, fluorine, sodium, aluminum, phosphorus, etc., have only one isotope), but their composition is almost constant no matter where you go on Earth. The amount of such an isotope expressed as an atomic percentage is called the nuclide abundance ratio (the nuclide abundance ratio for each element is shown in the entry for each element).

A radioisotope is a type of isotope that has radioactivity and is often abbreviated as RI (from radioactive isotope or radioisotope).
