Kagamishinmachi - Kagamishinmachi

...The plains in the south of the town, which is in the northwest of the Tsuyama Basin, are said to have been developed by the Kagamisakube clan in the 6th and 7th centuries, and Nishikamihonjo and Onosho were established there in the Middle Ages. Kagamishinmachi was a planned post town established by the Tsuyama domain in the early modern period, at a key location on the way to Kurayoshi. Currently, agriculture is the main industry, and in the fertile plains, rice, barley for beer, and vegetables are cultivated, while in the northern mountainous area, beef cattle breeding is popular, taking advantage of the semi-plains of the Chugoku Mountains.
