Chemical Energy Workers' Union

...The official name is the Japan Chemical, Service and General Workers' Union Federation. An affiliated union of the federation. In 1996, Zenka-dōmei, Jinmen, and Kagaku Ken merged to form the CSG Federation. Zenka-dōmei (official name is the National Federation of Chemical and General Workers' Unions) was formed in November 1951 with only 20,000 members, following the traditions of the Yuai-kai and Sōdōmei, when the Sōdōmei (Japanese Labour Confederation) split in 1950, with the Chemical Union at that time splitting into Zenka-dōmei, Goka-roren, and Kagaku-dōmei. The Jinmeni was also formed in 1966 "as the central organization of local general unions that were difficult to organize into existing industrial organizations." ...

…正称は日本化学･サービス･一般労働組合連合。連合の加盟組合。1996年全化同盟と一般同盟，化学研が合併してCSG連合が発足した。全化同盟(正称は全国化学一般労働組合同盟)は，1950年の総同盟(日本労働総同盟)の分裂で当時の化学同盟が，全化同盟，合化労連，化学同盟に分裂した中で，友愛会，総同盟の伝統をうけつぎ，翌51年11月にわずか2万人で結成し発足した組織であった。また，一般同盟は，1966年に〈既存の産業別組織に整理しがたい単位組合を地方一般同盟に組織し，その中央組織として〉結成された組織である。…
