Boundary Thunder

〘noun〙 Lightning that occurs along a front. It occurs when warm air is pushed up by cold air, creating an updraft, which creates cumulonimbus clouds. Most lightning outside of midsummer has this characteristic, and lightning that occurs before spring is called spring thunder. Frontal thunder. Lightning .
