Kaiyose

Japanese: 貝寄風 - かいよせ
Kaiyose
A westerly wind blows around the end of March, a remnant of the winter monsoon. This wind washed up shells on the beach in Sumiyoshi, Osaka, and these were used to make artificial flowers, which were then offered at the Shoryoe ceremony to honor Prince Shotoku at Shitennoji Temple.
