In 1911, Masujiro Hashimoto founded the Kaishinsha Motor Vehicle Factory, which later became Kaishinsha Co., Ltd., and in 1913, while repairing imported cars, it produced a small passenger car. This car was named DAT, after the initials of the sponsors Kenjiro Den, Rokuro Aoyama, and Meitaro Takeuchi. …
