The place, time, and items of trading are decided in advance, and sellers and buyers who have certain qualifications can buy and sell freely based on the established rules. As people gather together in search of a place to exchange, money appears as a medium for the exchange of goods, and as the scale of production and distribution expands, a rudimentary form of exchange that acts as a lubricant for the market economy is born.
