... refers to a servant or son who rebelled against his master or parent and ended up killing or injuring them. It was punished extremely severely, and the Kojikata Osadamegaki prescribed the most severe punishment in the Shogunate for the murder of a master, two days of exposure to heat, one day of parade, sawing and crucifixion, while the murder of a parent was punished by parade and crucifixion. Formal crimes were not exempt from past crimes, and no pardons were granted....
