...The ridgeline leading to Mt. Daitenjo features strangely shaped rocks such as Geero Rock and Tameemon Tsuri Rock. This ridgeline is called the Omote Ginza Traverse Route and is visited by many people, but there are also many bears and Japanese serows living nearby. Near the summit is the well-equipped Tsubame Sanso lodge, from which you can reach the summit in about 30 minutes.

...Birds such as the rock lark, the ptarmigan, and the blue-and-white flycatcher are often seen, and other animals such as stoats, Tohoku hares, Japanese macaques, Japanese serows, and Asiatic black bears also live here. There are several traverse routes, including the Omote Ginza traverse route (Kisaku Shindo) that runs from Mt. Yari to Mt. Tsubame via Mt. Otenjo, the Ura Ginza traverse route from Mt. Yari to Mt. Harinoki via Mt. Mimata Renge and Mt. Noguchi Goro, and the traverse route from Mt. Yari to Mt. Hotaka. For information on the main mountains, please refer to the respective entries.
