〘Noun〙 ("O" is a prefix ) A Buddhist service held on October 13th, the anniversary of Nichiren's death. It is said to be a variation of "Omieiku " , which was used to avoid being confused with Kobo Daishi's Mieiku. Omeko. Omeiku. Oeshiki. Season: Autumn ( originally winter ) . *From the story Yesterday is Today's Story (around 1614-24) , part 1: "The temple announced that it would be Omeiku shortly."
