In addition, the ingredients of flavoring and odor-correcting drugs used as spices, such as essential oils, are fairly well understood. The active ingredients of anthelmintics for internal parasites, agricultural insecticides, and special-purpose drugs are clear, but the active ingredients of herbal medicines, such as blood purifying and anti-inflammatory drugs, are related to the mechanism of action, so further research is required.
