This complex is located at the scenic Bennelong Point jutting out into Sydney Harbour in Australia. It has a concert hall that can accommodate 2,679 people, an opera theatre that seats 1,547, a drama theatre, a playhouse, and a studio that can accommodate 280 to 300 people, and is capable of hosting contemporary and classical art entertainment. With its unique exterior reminiscent of a yacht's sail, it has become a symbol of Sydney. Designed by Danish architect Jorn Utzon, construction began in 1959, but the complex shape and design caused expenses and delays in construction, and it was finally completed in 1973.
