The Roman goddess of fertility. She was closely associated with the agricultural god Saturn, whom the Romans identified with the Greek god Cronus, and was therefore also identified with Rhea, the wife of Cronus, and with Cybele. She was also called Opus Consiwa and was closely associated with Consus, the patron god of grain stored in underground cellars.
