Onoore - Onoore

Japanese: オノオレ - おのおれ
Onoore - Onoore

...The plant that corresponds to the azusa in the azusa bow, which is used in songs as a pillow word for i, iru, hiku, haru, moto, sue, tsuru, yoru, kaeru, ya, and oto, has been suggested by many people since ancient times, including catalpa, akamegashiwa, onoore, and rinboku (holly oak). However, Kotaro Shirai proposed the theory that it was a beetle (bibliaceae) plant, which was also verified by the results of a microscopic examination of the azusa bow in the Shosoin Repository, and is now the accepted theory.
