...The brothers Danzaburou and Kiou are known as servants of Soga Juro and Goro. However, Kiou and Danzaburou are names used in Noh and Kabuki plays about Soga, and in the Soga Monogatari they are Kioumaru and Tanzaburou (manabon), and Kiou and Dozaburou (kanabon). The Soga Monogatari states that they served the Soga brothers from childhood and stayed by their side at all times, but they don't actually appear in the story until the latter half, and there are some suspicious points about their appearance....
