Kazawa [Hot Spring] - Kazawa
A hot spring at the northern foot of Mt. Yunomaru in Tsumagoi Village, Agatsuma County, Gunma Prefecture. Heavy iron oxide spring. 45°C. It is said that the hot spring was discovered in ancient times, and there were 15 bathhouses in the Edo period. The area is famous as a highland summer resort. Nearby are the Shin-Kazawa Onsen (45°C) which uses water drawn from the source, the campground and ski resort of the Kazawa National Vacation Village, and the Yunomaru Renge Azalea Colony (a natural monument). It belongs to Joshin'etsu Kogen National Park, and there is a bus from Naganohara Town.

群馬県吾妻(あがつま)郡嬬恋(つまごい)村,湯ノ丸山北麓の温泉。含土類重ソウ泉。45℃。古代の開湯を伝え,江戸時代には15軒の湯小屋があった。一帯は高原で避暑地として有名。付近に引湯による新鹿沢温泉(45℃),鹿沢国民休暇村のキャンプ場やスキー場,湯ノ丸レンゲツツジ群落(天然記念物)がある。上信越高原国立公園に属し,長野原町からバスがある。
