Japanese: 《おどけ俄煮珠取》 - おどけにわかしゃぼんのたまとり

In ancient documents, they are written as ama, ama, ama, shiromizu, etc. The term ama refers to people who made their living by sea, including fishermen who dived into rivers and lakes, as well as those who engaged in fishing, net fishing, salt grilling, and water transportation and navigation, regardless of whether they were male ama (divers) or female ama (women divers) as we know them today.
[Lineage and distribution]
In the process of the formation of the Japanese people, the southern lineage has been traced quite clearly, and may be broadly divided into Indo-Chinese and Indonesian. The former are the Azumi lineage seen in the classics and its collateral lineage, the Sumiyoshi lineage, fishermen, who are presumed to have descended from the sea-faring people of the Minetsu region of southern China, and traveled north across the East China Sea, from the Shandong Peninsula to the Liaodong Peninsula, and then south along the west coast of the Korean Peninsula, passing through the archipelago and Jeju Island, before reaching the Genkai Sea.
