Governor of Ise

...The general name for the three families who managed their territories as provincial governors from the Nanboku-cho period to the end of the Warring States period. In the Unpo Irohashu (Unpo Colored Leaf Collection) and the Teijyo Zatsuki (Teijo Miscellany), both written in 1548 (Tenbun 17), the three provincial governors are the Anenokoji clan of Hida Province, the Kitabatake clan of Ise Province, and the Ichinomiya clan of Awa Province. In the Ashikaga Kiseki (Ashikaga Kiseiki), which is a war chronicle but is considered to have relatively high historical value, the Tosa Ichijo clan is listed in addition to the Anenokoji and Kitabatake clans. In the Koyo Gunkan (Kōyō Gunkan), which was created in the early Edo period, the three provincial governors are listed as Ise, Iyo, and Oshu, and there are differences depending on the book.

…南北朝期から戦国末年にかけて，それぞれの国の国司として，領国経営を行った三家の総称。1548年(天文17)の述作という《運歩色葉集（うんぽいろはしゆう）》や《貞丈雑記（ていじようざつき）》などでは，飛驒国司姉小路氏，伊勢国司北畠氏，阿波国司一宮氏を三国司と称し，また合戦記ながら史料的価値も比較的高いとされる《足利季世記（あしかがきせいき）》では，姉小路氏，北畠氏に加えて土佐一条氏を挙げている。また江戸初期に成立した《甲陽軍鑑（こうようぐんかん）》などでは，伊勢，伊予，奥州を称するなど，諸書によって異同がある。…
