Ogie Society - Ogie Society

...Wife of Japanese painter Maeda Seison. In 1957, when she claimed to be the 5th generation, the Ogie-bushi school split into the Kokyoku-kai school (Ogie-kai) and the Maeda school (Mamoru-kai). In 1971, she became a member of the Japan Art Academy.
