[Okayama Castle Town]
This castle town in the Okayama Domain of Bizen Province covers the alluvial plain downstream of the Asahi River. In ancient times, the names of the three districts of Mino, Hirose, and Izushi appear in the Wamyōshō, and Kata Manor, known as the land of the Fujiwara clan, was also located here.
