Born January 11, 1932. Founded Echo Company in 1964, and produced short animated films using a variety of materials as a producer and director. Won the Arts Festival Grand Prize in 1982 for "Okonjoururi." Won the Mainichi Film Award's Ohfuji Award seven times. Died February 16, 1990. Age 58. Born in Osaka. Graduated from Nihon University.
