A perennial plant of the Lamiaceae family (APG classification: Lamiaceae) that grows in hilly areas. The stem is erect, unbranched, and 10-30 cm tall. The leaves are opposite, with 1-2 cm stalks, and the leaf blade is triangular-oval and 1.5-5 cm long. In May and June, it produces short spikes at the end of the stems and bears blue-purple flowers.
