Large-leaved lily - Large-leaved lily

A perennial plant of the Ranunculaceae family (APG classification: Ranunculaceae), closely related to monkshood. The stem is 0.5-1 meter tall. The basal leaves are large. Flowers bloom from June to August in slender racemes, yellowish-white in color, with long, curved petal spurs. It is found in Honshu, from the Chubu region northwards, and Hokkaido. It was thought to be a variant of the Hokkaido variety Ezonoreijinsou, which has short petal spurs, but was recognized as an independent species in 2014.

キンポウゲ科（APG分類：キンポウゲ科）の多年草で、トリカブトに近縁な植物。茎は高さ0.5～1メートル。根出葉は大形。花は6～8月、細長い総状花序につき、黄白色、花弁の距(きょ)は長く、屈曲する。中部地方以北の本州、北海道に分布する。北海道に分布する花弁の距が短いエゾノレイジンソウの変種とされていたが、2014年に独立種とされた。
