Kiichi Ohashi
1917-2012 A playwright from the late Showa to Heisei eras.
Born October 28, 1917. Worked at Toshiba Electric's Komukai Factory, founded a drama club and performed "Mebane". In 1949, he was forced out of his job due to personnel cuts, and after working for the Seihai Theater Company, he joined the Mingei Theater Company in 1961. His representative works include "Kusunoki Sankichi's Youth" ("Shingeki" Drama Award) and "Zero no Kikoku" (Record of Zero). Died May 27, 2012. Age 94. Born in Tokyo.

大正6年10月28日生まれ。東芝電気小向工場につとめ,演劇部をつくって「芽生え」を発表。昭和24年人員整理で職場を追われ,劇団青俳をへて,36年劇団民芸にはいる。代表作に「楠三吉の青春」(「新劇」戯曲賞),「ゼロの記録」など。平成24年5月27日死去。94歳。東京出身。
