Born in 1633. The second son of Ozeki Takamasu. He was adopted by his elder brother Masuchika, and in 1662 became the lord of Kurobane Domain in Shimotsuke (Tochigi Prefecture) for the fifth generation of the Ozeki family. He served as a kaban (official attendant) and food steward in Osaka. He passed away on December 13, 1618. He was 50 years old. His childhood name was Kamechiyo.
