He was a servant of Yamashina Tokikuni and an expert in flower arranging. In 1467 (Onin 1), he was appointed Nagato no Kami, and served as a deputy of the Imperial Court's Kuraryo and a magistrate for the Yamashina family estate. In the Yamashina Family Ceremony, the diary entries from 1457 to 1492 are written by Hisamori, and describe the collection of taxes from the Yamashina family estate and his own personal life. The entry for July 23, 1477, reads, "He was issued a letter of assignment as a disciple," so it is known that he had disciples in flower arranging, and there are records of him arranging flowers in the Imperial Court from around 1488, but his accomplishments as a flower arranger are unclear. It is thought that he was probably a master of flower arranging in the society of the nobility.
