Year of death: September 3, 1465 (September 23, 1465) Year of birth: 1420 A military commander in the Muromachi period. His childhood name was Rokuro, and he was called Shinsuke. He served as Sakyo-no-taifu and Daizen-no-taifu. He was called Tsukiyama-dono. He was the son of Morimi. After Mochiyo's death, he succeeded the head of the Ouchi clan, and became the guardian of Suo, Nagato, and Buzen, and later also served as the guardian of Chikuzen. He issued laws prohibiting nighttime travel on the main roads in Yamaguchi City, as well as laws relating to his vassals, strengthening his control over his territory, and even negotiating with Ming and Korea. In 1465 (Kansho 6), he rebelled against the Shogunate's orders and sided with Kono Michiharu of Iyo, fighting against the Shogunate.
