A plane that contains the direction of electromagnetic wave propagation and the vibration direction of its electric field rotates. It is used in space communication antennas because it can receive radio waves regardless of their angle. Depending on the direction of rotation, it is classified as right-handed circular polarization or left-handed circular polarization.
