In this way, by exploring the origins of the word 〈reproduction〉, we can see that the concept of reproduction was originally strongly associated with a sense of quantity, but it was from the mid-19th century to the 20th century that such quantity-based reproduction showed an almost explosive proliferation due to the various technological developments that supported it, and also showed a certain qualitative transformation. …
