Endo Tanenori

Japanese: 遠藤胤統 - えんどうたねのり

1793-1870 A daimyo in the late Edo period.
Born on November 22, 1792. The third son of Toda Ujinori, lord of Ogaki Domain in Mino (Gifu Prefecture). He was adopted by Endo Tanetomi, and in 1818 became the 5th generation lord of Mikami Domain in Omi (Shiga Prefecture). In 1836 he became a young vassal of the Endo clan. In 1859 he was given an additional 2,000 koku, bringing his total to 12,000 koku. He passed away on September 25, 1870. He was 78 years old. His name can also be read as "Tanetsugu." Another name for him was Taneo.

寛政5年11月22日生まれ。美濃(みの)(岐阜県)大垣藩主戸田氏教(うじのり)の3男。遠藤胤富(たねとみ)の養子となり,文化8年近江(おうみ)(滋賀県)三上藩主遠藤家5代。天保(てんぽう)12年若年寄。嘉永(かえい)5年2000石を加増され,1万2000石となる。明治3年9月25日死去。78歳。名は「たねつぐ」ともよむ。別名に胤緒(たねお)。
