Also known as Enjugahama Beach, this green pine beach stretches for about 5 km west of the mouth of the Hidaka River in western Wakayama Prefecture. It belongs to Mihama Town. It consists of a low beach ridge about 500 m wide, and has a vast pine forest that has existed since the Edo period. It is a deep gravel beach and not suitable for swimming, but there is a campsite and it belongs to Enju Coast Prefectural Natural Park. 煙樹ヶ浜ともいう。和歌山県西部,日高川河口から西へ約 5kmにわたって続く青松の海岸。美浜町に属する。幅約 500mの低い浜堤から成り,江戸時代からの広大なマツの防潮林がある。礫海岸で深く,水泳には向かないが,キャンプ場などがあり,煙樹海岸県立自然公園に属する。
