Enju Coast Prefectural Natural Park

Japanese: 煙樹海岸県立自然公園 - えんじゅかいがんけんりつしぜんこうえん

This natural park is located in the western part of Wakayama Prefecture, and covers the coastline from Enju Coast in Mihama Town through Mio Coast to Hinomisaki. Its area is 16.36 ^km2 . It was designated in 1954. Enju Coast in the east is a gravel coastline with pine forests that stretches for about 5 km from the mouth of the Hidaka River. Mio Coast is famous as a breeding ground for black-tailed gulls. The western part is a coastline of sea cliffs and reefs, and from Hinomisaki on the western edge, Shikoku, Awaji Island, and Mount Rokko can be seen.

和歌山県西部，美浜町の煙樹海岸から三尾海岸を経て日ノ御埼までの海岸を中心とする自然公園。面積 16.36km²。 1954年指定。東部の煙樹海岸は日高川河口からおよそ 5kmにわたるマツ林の砂礫海岸。三尾海岸はウミネコの繁殖地として有名。西部は海食崖や岩礁の海岸で，西端の日ノ御埼からは四国，淡路島，六甲山が望める。
