Located in the Bay of Naples in southern Italy, about 30 km south of Naples and about 5 km from the Sorrento Peninsula, the island is entirely made of hard rocks such as limestone. It produces white wine and olive oil. It is a world-famous tourist destination. The sea cave Grotta Azzurra (Blue Grotto) on the north shore is famous for its strange sights. It contains the remains of Emperor Tiberius' villa. Its capital is Capri. It has an area of ^{10 km2} .
