A method of illuminating a specific object from the optimal direction. Compared to general lighting (uniform lighting), which provides uniform illuminance throughout the room, this method has the advantage of providing the desired illuminance from the desired direction, improving lighting effects. In addition, the high illumination rate reduces electricity costs. Points to keep in mind are that there will be a tendency to need many different types of lighting fixtures depending on the work being done in the room, the contrast between light and dark areas will tend to be strong, and documents will tend to shine and become difficult to read.
