Japanese: 絵三島 - えみしま
Emishima
〘 noun 〙 Pottery with a white clay surface that is painted with black or dark brown iron glaze and then covered with a transparent glaze. A type of painted Goryeo pottery. The ones made at Gyeryongsan Kiln during the Joseon Dynasty are well known.
