Capitularia (English spelling) [Latin]

Japanese: カピトゥラリア(英語表記)capitularia[ラテン]
Capitularia (English spelling) [Latin]
A general term for the Carolingian kings of the Franks. They were usually divided into several chapters, hence the name (meaning "chapata"). According to the traditional view, based on the content of their provisions, they are classified as ecclesiastical decrees (matters related to the sacred world), secular decrees (matters related to secular matters), and mixed decrees (matters related to both sacred and secular matters), and secular decrees are further divided into tribal decrees (which supplemented the tribal code and required the consent of the people of the tribe in question), independent decrees (which the king could issue or revoke unilaterally), and patristic decrees (which were instructions given to the king's patristic envoys, but at the same time often had the nature of orders to be promulgated by the patristic envoys in various places).
