Edensenite - Edensen stone

...(2) is the group with the most diverse chemical composition among the amphibole group. Representative examples include actinocene, which contains almost no Na or Al, pargasite, which has a basic chemical composition of NaCa ₂ (Mg,Fe ^2＋ ) ₃ Al ₅ Si ₅ O ₂₂ (OH) ₂ with some of the Mg and Fe ^2＋ replaced with Mn and some of the Al replaced with Mg, Fe ^2＋ , Fe ^3＋ , etc., tschermakite, which has a basic chemical composition of Ca ₂ (Mg,Fe ^2＋ ) ₃ Al ₄ Si ₆ O ₂₂ (OH) ₂ with some of the Al replaced with other ions like pargasite, edenite, which has a chemical composition of NaCa ₂ (Mg,Fe ^2＋ ) ₅ AlSi ₇ O ₂₂ (OH) ₂ , and hornblende, which has an intermediate chemical composition between them. It is usually dark green to dark brown and occurs as columnar to fibrous aggregates.

…(2)は角セン石族のうち最も多様な化学組成をもつグループである。NaとAlをほとんど含まないアクチノセン石，NaCa₂(Mg,Fe^2＋)₃Al₅Si₅O₂₂(OH)₂を基本的な化学組成とし，Mg,Fe^2＋の一部をMnで，Alの一部をMg,Fe^2＋，Fe^3＋などで置き換えるパーガスセン石pargasite,Ca₂(Mg,Fe^2＋)₃Al₄Si₆O₂₂(OH)₂を基本的な化学組成とし，パーガスセン石と同じように一部を他のイオンと置換するツェルマクセン石tschermakite,NaCa₂(Mg,Fe^2＋)₅AlSi₇O₂₂(OH)₂という化学組成をもつエデンセン石edeniteとそれらの中間的な化学組成であるホルンブレンドhornblendeは代表的なものである。ふつう濃緑色～濃褐色で長柱状～繊維状の集合体として産出する。…
