A spectroscope is a device for acquiring the spectrum of light, but it is often called a spectroscope even when it is used for spectra other than those in the region called light, such as X-ray spectra or microwave spectra. In particular, dispersive X-ray spectroscopes have a structure that is almost similar to that of optical spectroscopes, although the components are different, as shown in Figure 7.
