Arctic nettle - Arctic nettle

...It is commonly found in Honshu from Fukushima Prefecture southwards, Shikoku and Kyushu. A closely related species with many sawtooths, U. platyphylla Wedd., is found in Honshu from the Chubu region northwards and Hokkaido. U. angustifolia Fischer, a species with long, thin leaves and separate stipules, is found throughout Japan.
