Agency for National Security Planning : South Korea's national security planning agency. Formerly the National Intelligence Service (NIS). Founded in 1961 as the Korea Central Intelligence Agency (KCIA), it was reorganized as the National Security Planning Agency in 1981, and became the National Intelligence Service in 1999.
