Eurypterus - Eurypterus

...Some are small, but some are larger, exceeding 1m in length, and some even reaching 1.8m. Eurypterus is a representative species of sea scorpion, and is found in Ordovician to Carboniferous strata in Europe, North Africa, and Asia, but most are small, about 20 to 30cm in length. No sea scorpion fossils have yet been reported in Japan.
