A support device for jackhammers and other equipment whose legs extend and retract using compressed air. It was first developed and manufactured by the German company Frottmann in 1930. As the work progresses, the piston is pushed out like a telescope, propelling the jackhammer forward. It is often used to support small jackhammers.
